These simple and healthy little snacks are perfect for October! Credit goes to Bren Did for the original idea. I was hoping to find some fun themed snacks for a month when typically we are all eating WAY too much candy and sugar!
YOU WILL NEED
Celery sticks
Mandarin oranges
A plastic or butter knife
LET’S GET STARTED!
Peel those oranges! Try to get most of the white stuff off.
Cut a small piece of celery. Or let your toddler experiment, touch and experience celery.
Insert a stem of celery into the middle of your mandarin!
KEEPIN’ IT REAL
Sometimes in the afternoons when my kids don’t nap we watch a movie for “down time”. While we made these mandarin pumpkins we were watching Moana! Also my kids ate NONE of the celery. Here was our mess… luckily this one is minimal on the dishes!! Gotta love an easy snack like this one!
