I’m sure many of you are familiar with Donald Crews’ big sellers “Freight Train” and “Truck”, but he has several other books that grab kids attention and help them to learn.  If you have toddlers who love trains, trucks, boats etc. these are the books for them.  What’s great about Donald Crews is that each of his books has an educational component.  They teach about counting, colors and more, and are easy to memorize.

To be honest, my kids either loved or hated these books.  Some of them they had me read over and over again and memorized them cover to cover.  Others I read once, and they never wanted me to read them again.  Experiment and see how your kids respond!

Although I am a fan of books that make me laugh, I really like that there is an educational component to these books and that they are easy for my kids to memorize.
