Eric Litwin teaches amazing concepts like colors, counting, basic addition and subtraction and social skills, all through a groovy cat that sings catchy songs and strolls through life with ease.  I love that Pete the Cat faces real kid challenges with an attitude of optimism and encouragement and my kids love the catchy songs.

The Pete the Cat series is engaging, funny and challenging.  These books can teach toddlers right at their own level.  When we read the Pete the Cat series my 2-year-old is learning all about colors while my 4-year-old learns how to add and subtract.  How great is that?

Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes  When Pete goes to school for the first time, he figures out that when you rock your way through school there is nothing to worry about.

Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes When Pete ruins his white shoes by stepping in all sorts of colors he learns to enjoy his favorite shoes, no matter what color they are.

Pete the Cat and the Missing Cupcakes When somebody steals all of Pete’s cupcakes, Pete realizes that staying friends is more important then getting mad.
